Democrat Sherrod Brown really wants his Senate seat back. Although I am puzzled that he was able to get enough signatures and support to get put on the ballot for this year. After all, we Ohioans did vote him out of the Senate after 26 years of - at best - unremarkable accomplishments. In his new campaign, Brown promises to do some positive things, but the obvious question comes up: Why didn't you do those before? Maybe you'd still be Senator if you had!
So, Brown starts his campaign with trying to smear Senator Huston, who is actually doing things for our state. At one point, it seemed Brown let up a bit, but he is back with what has become his signature mud-slinging, name calling, negative campaign.
Joining him is an ad claiming Huston supported "tax breaks for the rich". Seriously, democrats, is that all you have, the same old, tired, dated, mostly false campaigning? This particular ad was paid for by an outfit that calls itself "duty and honor". Politifact tells us that this organization is a nonprofit affiliated with the democrat backed Senate Majority PAC. That is why I put duty and honor in quotes. This bunch has nothing to do with the military, as one might think, nor are they connected to the concepts of duty or honor. In fact, Politifact says their website presents information that is, at best, "half true". This outfit has one purpose - to get more liberals into the Senate. That is something this country does not need. More liberals in Congress, doing their best to tear down anything President Trump is trying to do, not for any rational purpose, but out of PURE HATE. HATE killed Charley Kirk. HATE nearly killed Trump on at least three occasions. HATE got President Biden elected, even though he arguably was not ready for the job.
The democrats need to stop fanning the fires of hate, and pay more attention to the socialists who are beginning to push liberals to the curb. Or maybe, just get the heck out of the way, and let President Trump and Congress run the country. The democrats had their big fling when President Obama was in office. The Republicans fought the right way - in Congress, using every legal weapon they had, but could not stop the liberals from saddling us with the so-called Affordable Care Act. Now the liberals are behaving like spoiled brats, kicking and screaming. Grow up, liberals.
Oh. P. S....in one of Brown's latest ads, he notes how Ohio has over 200vdata centers. Brown's warped logic tries to blame Senator Huston for the data Centers. BUT - in 2024, when Brown was still in office there were - wait for it - more than 200 operational data centers. Mr. Brown, this happened on YOUR watch. Care to explain?
