Thank You, Mark Cuban (not really)

So, instead of dealing with the problem of certain people using the time when the National Anthem is played, to protest, Cuban is simply caving in, and not playing the National Anthem at home games any longer.

Thank you, Mr. Cuban, for taking away another little piece of America, particularly at a time when we really need it most.  No one should be allowed to use what little time we allocate to revering our great country for selfish purposes (Are you listening, NFL???).  There is absolutely nothing wrong with showing some appreciation for our country, and the great things it has given us.  Taking three minutes before a sporting event to show some appreciation for the US of A is not, nor has it ever, been wrong.

There are some morons who say "it's about time" to Cuban's misguided action.  These people are part of the entitled class.  They take all the things they have for granted.  They believe they have a right to life, liberty and justice.  But these rights were never given.  They were worked for, and still are, by those who truly believe in our country.  The great Richard Bach once said that he wanted to take those kind of people, and box them up in crates, and ship them to some slave state.  But then, he said, they wouldn't be able to see the great freedoms he was trying to show them in the first place.

The late, great Jerry Reed said it well when he sang "we need a little more soul savin', and a whole lot more flag wavin'."  We need more patriotism now, or we might as well take down Old Glory, and put up the red flag with the star on it.
