You gotta love the liberal media here in the US. As I have said before, they absolutely hate President Trump. This is partly because the President is a Conservative. It is also because the President often takes to Twitter to announce things. The Media hates that, because they don't get to spin, frame, or outright censor what the President says.
So here's the liberal publication USA Today, with the headline: McConnell congratulates Biden on election win, six weeks after the election.
The idiots at USA Today should note that Senator McConnell was doing what all of us logical, rational people have been doing since the election: awaiting the OFFICIAL outcome of the election. Just to refresh your waning memories, USA Today, voting is merely the beginning of the election process. There may be legal challenges and recounts that can delay knowing for sure who really won (Remember the Bush-Gore election?? Hmmm??). And there were many legal challenges, and recounts this time around. So, for Senate Majority Leader McConnell to wait until everything has wound down, and been properly executed, before congratulating the actual, confirmed, legal winner of the election, is a very rational thing to do.
However, liberals are a very stubborn, implacable people. As I have said many times before, President Trump could be on street corners, passing out blankets to the homeless, and some liberal would find fault. And in their spare time, they spout outright lies about the President. Like the lie that President Trump has done nothing about the Covid pandemic. Hey, ever hear about Operation Warp Speed? That's where the US government pumped billions of dollars into the big pharmaceutical companies, to help find vaccines sooner. If the program had begun under President Obama, he would most certainly have taken credit for it. Well, President Trump certainly deserves the credit in this case.
