Beh. Cold, wet, rainy weather. Ah, well, good for staying in and working on the DR7 driver for SPOCS. I am in debug with the new driver now. It was originally written to access only one device. That device was an old JNIOR 310 Ethernet I/O block. I have never had the block wired to anything, but it was good for developing the Modbus TCP driver, which is DR7.
The Arduino clone I showed you in my last post has been programmed to speak Modbus TCP, so it will be a good addition to the system.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Dellroy is healing up from her summertime problems. In July, she broke a wrist. Then, about three months ago, she got a staph infection deep in one knee. That infection required a trip to the hospital, surgery, and antibiotics to fix.
It is ironic that a close relative had an infection in her leg last summer, also. She decided not to have it treated. It took about three months for her to die. I shall never, ever, understand the logic of that decision. (a large assumption is being made there, that logic was even involved.)
More Later.
