The folks at StarTech are forever cooking up neat things. The latest one I have gotten my hands on is a USB to four RS-232 port box. It is running on SPARCL14 right now. It looks like the way to get rid of those one channel USB to serial devices.
KDBG and I finally ran down that nasty alarm bug. Now the alarm module works exactly the way it is supposed to. I want to get a few more days of running time on it before I consider taking SPOCS 2.5 live.
The release of SPOCS 2.5 is later than I wanted it to be, but, oh, well. It will happen, soon.
