Poor SPARCL12. It suffered through four - yes, four - installs, only to have to go through one more. Yup, I dropped it back to Fedora 15. No more troubles. No problems. Everything works. I got RealStudio re-activated, wasn't much trouble to do. Got everything else going, plus, found a SPOCS bug!
If the first communication port is not available, the scanner heartbeat will not update. Makes you think the scanner is dead, but it is not! Found the problem, will release the fix in SPOCS 2.1.1.
Right now, I am looking a a couple of bugs in the SPOCS system, more on this next time.
