The actual failure was the reed switch on the garage man door. It was a homemade affair, but it did last nearly 10 years. I replaced it last week.
The other failure is Bravenet. They apparently decided they needed to severely limit what they gave for free. Now, for free you get one website, and no FTP to update it. Which, of course, makes it useless for our purposes. That's why you see all the big notices on the Bravenet pages.
We are in the process of switching over to another free website. If it works, it will be www.spocs-online.zxq.net. Stay tuned.
